ABSTRACT Gnathostoma spinigerum is the most common tissue parasitic infestation and is the second most common ocular parasite in Thailand. Symptoms and signs relate to the random migration of the larva through the host tissue. We reported a case of living intracameral third stage larva of gnathostoma caught by argon laser photocoagulation before its escape. The dead parasite was success fully removed under local anesthesia and normal visual acuity has been restored.
