ABSTRACT The axial length, comeal curvature and intraocular lens power in 500 cataract eyes of patients of the Department of Ophthalmology, Lampang Hospital were measured.

There were 277 males (55.4%) and 223 females (44.6%). Age range was 7-104 years mean 58.42 years. The pre dominant age ranges were 61-70 and 51-60 years. The axial length in cataract eyes were measured in male 23.4510.42 mm., in female 23.5310.38 mm. The comeal curvature in male are 44.4610.80 D. in horizontal and 44.5010.84 D. in vertical, in female are 44.5910.80 D. in horizontal and 45.6811.08 D. in vertical. The mean intraocular lens power (A=l 16.8) in male is 17.9410.80 D. and female 17.6610.74 D.
