phthalmic Complication of Sinus Surgery : A Report of 3 cases

ABSTRACT Three patients with visual loss after sinus surgery were reported. The causes were due to the intraorbital haemorrhage with the optic nerve compression. After orbital decompression, the vision recovered in one case only. This harzardous complication should be avoided and prevented by careful preoperative checked up, intraoperative precaution, early diagnosis and prompt treatment if such a complication was to occur.
