ABSTRACT Two cases of cerebro – rhino – orbital mucormycosis were reported. The underlying disease of both were diabetes mellitus and the first one developed diabetic ketoacidosis. They were treated with systemic amphotericin B (1 mg./kg./day), maxillectomy, sphenoidectomy, ethimoidectomy and orbital exenteration with additional irrigation and packing with amphotericin B (1 mg./ ml.) and palatectomy in the second one. Tissue cultures from both of them yielded rhizopus spp. Later on they deteriorated and died.
