Transcleral Cyclophotocoagulation A Case Report

ABSTRACT The transcleral cyclophotocoagulation with ND : Yag laser, free running mode was approved to be effective, convenient method for treatment of the refractory glaucoma. The laser beam was shot by non – contact system at 1-1.5 mm. post limbus with pulse duration 20 ms., pulse energy 4-8 J., defocussing 9.Total number of shooting depended on the intraocular pressure. This report showed successful treatment of the refractory glaucoma in Thai male patient, 23 year of age with transcleral cyclophotocoagulation.
