ABSTRACT Six patients with autosomal dominant
retinitis pigmentosa were reported. The cor relation of clinical symptoms of night
blindness, pigmentary retinal changes, visual field, electroretinogram (ERG) and
electrooculogram (EOG) was studied.
The electrophysiologic
test showed abnormal response in all cases which was not correlate to the
visual acuity and the changes of pigment in the retina. The abnormal ER6 and
EOG response can be detected before the ap pearance of clinical and fundus
changes.
