Post operative, 2 cases had corneal edema and recovered in 7 days, no wound leak seen. The result of visual acuity in 2 weeks after surgery had V.A. ~ 20170 about 70%, VA ~ 20/40 about 30%, when follow up until 4 weeks every cases had VA ~ 20/70, had VA ~ 20/40 about 40% and loss follow up 24%

This study compared the result of visual acuity between the patients made phacoemulsification with viscoelastic material 75 cases and without vescoelastic material. The result of visual acuity was not different between both groups.
