Peribulbar Block with and without Hyaluronidase A Comparative Study

ABSTRACT Comparative study of the benefits of hyaluronidase in peribulbar block with 2% lidocaine and 1:70,000 adrenalin analysed by Paired t-Test, Mann Whitney Rank Sum Test and Fisher's Exact Test revealed no benefitial effect. The small dose (4 ml) peribulbar block was effective for ocular akinesia (85% success) and the pre and post anaesthetic B.P., H.R., I.O.P. were not change.
