BSTRACT We
studied two models of noncontact tonometer with respect to reliability of
intraocular pressure measurement, when used by a paramedical personnel, comparing
with Goldmann applanation tonometry.
The first group of 205
eyes was measured with NT-2000 of Nidek. Another group of 244 eyes was measured
with T-2 of Canon. It revealed equal coefficient of correlation (r = 0.84
p < 0.001). Both instruments have properties to be used as a screening
test for glau coma detection.
