ABSTRACT
Purpose : To discuss the methods of choosing appropriated lenses base curve for fitting contact lenses in complicated post refractive surgery. Methods : We present 6 complicated eyes after refractive surgery which have been corrected with contact lens successfully, The analysis was done to find the correlation between final base curve and keratometric reading in each axis. Results : In excimer refractive surgery group, the final lens base curve is within + 1.0 diopter from flattest corneal curvature. In incisional refractive surgery group, the final lens base curve is 1.0-1.5 diopter steeper than steepest comeal curvature. Conclusion : The appropriated lenses base curve was recommended for contact lenses fitting in complicated cases post refractive surgery.
