แพทย์ประจำบ้าน และ แพทย์ประจำบ้านต่อยอดท่านใดที่ fulfill ALL the following criteria:

1) From an APAO member nation; (ซึ่งเราเป็นสมาชิก) 2) Have completed basic residency training in ophthalmology; advantages will be given to those having completed a subspecialty training program;
3) Published at least 1 original scientific article in an indexed peer-reviewed journal;
4) Fulfill the special requirements of their preferred APAO International Training Centres; https://apaophth.org/training-centers/
5) Be under the age of 40.

มาที่อีเมล์ของราชวิทยาลัย admin@rcopt.org ภายในวันศุกร์ที่ 13 มิถุนายน 2568 โดยเขียนหัวข้ออีเมล์ "สมัคร APAO International Fellowship Program 2025-2026"

ซึ่งคณะกรรมการราชวิทยาลัยจะพิจารณาคัดเลือกผู้ที่เหมาะสม ภายในวันที่ 20 มิถุนายน 2568 จากนั้นจะส่งรายชื่อไปยังคณะกรรมการของ APAO เพื่อคัดเลือกผู้สมควรได้รับทุนอีกครั้งหนึ่ง

ซึ่งท่านที่ได้รับการคัดเลือกจากทางราชวิทยาลัยแล้วในเบื้องต้น ท่านจะต้องดำเนินการ complete application form ผ่าน website APAO ภายในวันที่ 30 มิถุนายน 2568 เพื่อให้ APAO committee พิจารณาการคัดเลือกขั้นต่อไป ซึ่งถือเป็นคำตัดสินสุดท้าย

ดังนั้นหมายถึงว่าผู้สมัครจะต้องผ่าน 2 ขั้นตอนเพื่อที่จะทราบว่าท่านเป็นผู้ได้รับทุนหรือไม่ ซึ่งทางคณะกรรมการของ APAO จะแจ้งผ่านทางราชวิทยาลัยให้ท่านทราบเมื่อคำตัดสินสิ้นสุด

APAO International Fellowship Program 2025–26 (Recommendation Deadline: June 30, 2025)

We are pleased to announce that applications for the APAO International Fellowship Program (IFP) 2025–26 are now open. Launched in 2014, the IFP aims to support promising young ophthalmologists across the Asia-Pacific region in furthering their education and professional development at APAO-accredited training centers.

We are also delighted to share that the program has expanded to include its 16th accredited training center—the Joint Shantou International Eye Center (China). With this addition, the program now offers clinical, research, and observership fellowships of 3 or 12 months at 16 accredited centers across 9 countries/territories. Program Objectives:

• Help promising young ophthalmologists from the region, especially those from developing nations, to improve their clinical skills, surgical exposure, research experience, and to broaden their perspectives of ophthalmology.

• Support the fellows to put into practice the knowledge and skills they acquired back to their native countries and participate in blindness prevention programs whenever appropriate.

• Spread education and professionalism to all parts of the world and promote international collaboration between eye care organizations.

Applicant Eligibility Criteria:

Applicants must meet all of the following:

1. From an APAO member country/territory (https://apaophth.org/members/national/);

2. Have completed basic residency training in ophthalmology; advantages will be given to those having completed a subspecialty training program;

3. Published at least 1 original scientific article in an indexed peer-reviewed journal;

4. Fulfill the special requirements of their preferred APAO International Training Centres (https://apaophth.org/training-centers/);

5. Be under the age of 40.

Preference will be given to applicants who have already secured a fellowship position at APAO International Training Centre.

Fellowship Support:

Successful candidates will receive up to US$1,000 for airfare and a monthly allowance of US$200 for the duration of the fellowship.
